At First Steps Nursery in Poole, our little explorers recently embarked on an egg-citing journey with some very special guests: ducklings! 🐣🦆

Picture this: six almost-hatching duck eggs snuggled in their cozy incubator, ready to crack open and reveal their fluffy secrets. Our preschoolers gathered around, eyes wide with anticipation. Would it be a quacker or a waddler? The suspense was unbearable!

And then, it happened! Tiny cracks appeared, and the ducklings began their grand escape. Fluffy heads poked out, and our preschoolers cheered, “Quack-tastic!” 🎈

Over the next week, we followed the ducklings’ adventures. They wobbled, they flapped, and they discovered their webbed feet. Our nursery turned into a mini-petting-zoo as they met all of the children, from Babies to Pre-schoolers - even some of our ex First Steps Children popped in after School to say hello!
