Celebrating Children in Need at First Steps Nursery

At First Steps Nursery, we recently had an incredible week filled with joy, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing, all in support of Children in Need! Our little stars took part in a Danceathon Week, where they showed off their best moves to raise money for this wonderful cause. The nursery was buzzing with energy as the children danced their hearts out, from the Hokey Cokey to freestyle boogies.

But the fun didn’t stop there! Our budding bakers rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen, making delicious Pudsey biscuits. The aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the air, and the children had a blast decorating their biscuits with colorful icing and sprinkles, all inspired by Pudsey Bear.

To top off the week, we had a Pudsey fancy dress event. The nursery was transformed into a sea of yellow and polka dots as the children came dressed as their favorite bear. From tiny Pudsey ears to full-on costumes, the creativity and enthusiasm were truly heartwarming.

It was a week to remember, full of fun activities that not only brought smiles to the children’s faces but also taught them the importance of helping others. We are so proud of our little dancers, bakers, and costume designers for their incredible efforts and the generous support from our nursery community.
