Hope for Food

This month we have been supporting one of our local food banks Hope for Food and we were thrilled to gain lots of lovely donations from our families. This week Tiff, Niobe and two smiley helpers went to drop off our donations and the staff at Hope for food were incredibly grateful.

The preschool children spoke about the donations during circle times and Tiff explained that the food items they had brought in would go to other families and help make them some yummy meals over the Christmas period. We talked about other ways we can spread kindness at Christmas and the children came up with some lovely ideas such as sending Christmas cards and singing Christmas songs.

Hope for food always welcome donations and their drop off point is Unit 13, West Howe Industrial Estate, Elliott Road BH11 8LZ Bournemouth. They also have this information on their Facebook page…..

“If you would like to donate to Hope for Food over the Christmas period but are unable to get to our unit in West Howe, we do have a numbers of businesses in the BCP area who kindly act as drop-off points for us. You are more than welcome to take your donations along to any of these locations. Please see attached photo.”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our families who sent in their donations, if you would like to support Hope for food please find them on Facebook for more information of items they are in need of this Christmas
